YOU TELL US!

Are you a numbers wiz or a mechanic? We may have special use for your unique skills. Contact us and develop a volunteer position as unique as you are.

Be the first friendly face our members see when they walk in the door.
This position consists of answering and directing phone calls in a friendly and professional manner, answering general inquiry emails from the community, and any other projects staff might need help with. The ideal candidate has benefited from our programs and services and is comfortable in a customer service role.

If you are detail-oriented, organized, and love logistics, we may have just the project for you.
We host many events throughout the year, as they are one of the biggest ways we create community for our participants and fundraise to support our free programs.

Special Event Volunteers

Specialty volunteers are also often needed at our events, ie. photographers.
Our special events range from our Young Professional’s Council Trivia Night to our annual Porch Party and each of them needs professional, organized, and friendly volunteers to make them a success.

If you like telling others about the great work CSCAZ is doing & enjoy connecting with new people, then this is a great opportunity for you.
We look to attend certain events in the community to get the word out about our free programs and services.

One of the most powerful ways you can take control of your cancer journey is by sharing your experiences with others.
Join Cancer Support Community Arizona’s Wings Of Hope Peer Mentor Program in memory of Allison Sanders.

We welcome both mentors and mentees into our program. Caregivers and people who completed their treatment at least 12 months ago and who have participated in CSCAZ programs are invited to apply as mentors. People new to the cancer journey (patient or caregiver) who are looking for people who had similar experiences are welcome to join as mentees.

The Peer Mentor Program can:

  • Improve access to services and reduce barriers to care
  • Address fears and concerns and reduce feelings of isolation
  • Relieve negative emotions, improve quality of life and treatment compliance.

For more information about this program, please send us a message.
