This support group is open to anyone with a current or recent breast cancer diagnosis.

In this group, we will provide a safe space to explore what cancer means in your life and in return, you will find a community of individuals who will stand with you and who understand your story because they have lived it. The primary focus of this group is to support your emotional and social needs as we strive to be there for one another throughout the challenges of cancer.

This support group is open to those who have recently lost a loved one to cancer.

In this group, we will provide a safe space to explore what cancer means in your life and in return, you will find a community of individuals who will stand with you and who understand your story because they have lived it. The primary focus of this group is to support your emotional and social needs as we strive to be there for one another throughout the challenges of cancer. We will discuss the stages of loss, how to cope with grief and how to deal with anniversaries and other milestones in life.

Please join this monthly group for a supportive discussion and education regarding living with Multiple Myeloma. Learn about treatment options, side effect management, and survivorship. This is a time to share information and experiences and, on occasion, learn from medical experts. Those supporting a loved one with Multiple Myeloma are welcome.

This support group is designed for men only and is open to those who have a current or recent cancer diagnosis.

In this group, we will provide a safe space to explore what cancer means in your life and in return, you will find a community of men who will stand beside you and who understand your story because they have lived it. The primary focus of this group is to support your emotional and social needs as we strive to be there for one another throughout the challenges of cancer.

If you are diagnosed with cancer that has metastasized (or spread) to other areas of the body, your needs may be different from those who have cancer at an earlier stage. In this group, we’ll provide a safe space to explore the unique ways in which cancer is impacting your life.  By building a community with others who “get it,” you can learn how to increase your quality of life and support one another through the ups and downs of a complex cancer journey.

The Native American Support Group meets each Wednesday evening virtually through the Zoom platform to support the cancer journey of each participant. This support group is designed for Native Americans who have a current or recent diagnosis.

If you would like a safe space to explore what cancer means in your life, to find a community of people who have your back, and to know there are others who understand your story and its challenges because they are living it, this will be the support group for you. Cancer Support Community AZ support groups, sessions, and workshops are always free for those impacted by cancer.

Welcome to Cancer Support Community Arizona.

The Newcomer Orientation Meeting is open to anyone impacted by cancer, including cancer patients, their loved ones and caregivers. This orientation will be conducted live online and will include information about our free programs and classes, workshops, and events. During this virtual meeting, we will discuss how to get started with many of the programs available to you and your family.

This group is for anyone who has completed treatment within the past 6 months.

A successful transition from active cancer treatment to life post-treatment is critical to your physical health and emotional well-being.  In this group, members will connect with others in our open free group.   This group is led by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is confidential.  People can share their personal experiences, ways of coping and helpful resources. 

Rise and Recharge is our monthly Saturday half-day, drop-in programs. Rise and Recharge features activities for you and your family, and you can participate in as many programs as you’d like, including educational sessions, healthy lifestyles classes, and games, plus newcomer orientations for those joining us for the first time.

Get connected with other youth ages 11 and older who have been impacted by cancer.  This group is a safe space to freely express emotions and thoughts about how cancer is affecting you, whether a personal diagnosis or that of a caregiver or loved one.  By incorporating fun activities like art and games, you will learn new coping skills for managing your emotions.  Bonus…cookies will be provided!
