Read the book of the month ahead of time and then discuss it as a group at our next Book Club meeting.
If you are the caretaker, family member, or loved one of a person diagnosed with cancer, you’re invited to Caregivers Convening, a two-hour get-together on Fridays to meet with other caregivers and loved ones in support of taking care of the caregiver.
This is an unmoderated in-person gathering for families, partners, and other caregivers who want a safe place to discuss the stresses, challenges, and rewards of providing care for cancer patients. Those in attendance will determine the monthly calendar. One week might be conversation and sharing, while another could feature a presenter offering information on a particular topic of interest. Sessions could include expressive arts projects, healing energy circles, or going out to a local restaurant to enjoy lunch.
Please register in advance so that the monthly schedule can be shared with you before the meetings. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch and beverage. Space is limited to 15 participants each week.
