Newcomer Orientation

Welcome to Cancer Support Community Arizona.

The Newcomer Orientation Meeting is open to anyone impacted by cancer, including cancer patients, their loved ones and caregivers. This orientation will be conducted live online and will include information about our free programs and classes, workshops, and events. During this virtual meeting, we will discuss how to get started with many of the programs available to you and your family.

Rise and Recharge is our monthly Saturday half-day, drop-in programs. Rise and Recharge features activities for you and your family, and you can participate in as many programs as you’d like, including educational sessions, healthy lifestyles classes, and games, plus newcomer orientations for those joining us for the first time.

Do you want to learn how to use technology to stay connected and access health services?

Join us for Telehealth 101, a free workshop where we’ll show you how to access your medical records, sign up for CSCAZ programs, connect to telehealth and other technology services, and find COVID-19 resources. Whether you need help with Wi-Fi, passwords, ride-share apps, or social media, we’ve got you covered. When you register, be sure to fill out the survey that will be provided to let us know your needs and what you would like to learn.

Don’t miss this opportunity to boost your tech skills and confidence!
