Research shows that participation in the type of programs offered at Cancer Support Community Arizona decreases distress, improves quality of life and may increase the potential of long-term survival. The Participant Toolbox is the place to start for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer.
Day and Evening Options Available: Mondays - 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm Wednesdays - 6:00 pm - 7:30pm These professionally-facilitated weekly support groups are for people with cancer and a separate group for family, friends and caregivers. Explore new ways of dealing with the stresses of cancer and learn techniques to become partners with your healthcare team. A brief interview is required to determine appropriate group placement.
