Dear Champion!

We hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and well.

On behalf of Cancer Support Community Arizona, thank you for your generous support in 2019. Your contribution made a difference for 2,664 people impacted by cancer; we hope you’ll open this report to meet some of them and read their inspiring stories.

Last year, our services reached families in Phoenix and Flagstaff. Today, with our expanded telephone and virtual offerings, we have extended our reach and we are able to touch families from Tucson to Page – expanding the impact that your dollars make possible. People who previously faced barriers to participating in-person have now joined virtual programs in both English and Spanish. We have people connecting to us from Cornville, Williams, and Show Low – each week we are introducing an average of 5 new families to our services!

Virtual meetings cannot replace the value of in-person interactions, but they have proven to be a significant and powerful tool for supporting all Arizona residents during this time of physical distancing and isolation.

While COVID-19 has shut down much of life as we know it, cancer does not cease. Children, teens, mothers and fathers continue to be diagnosed; continue with treatment; and many continue feeling loss, fear, and isolation….  At Cancer Support Community Arizona we feel strongly that it is critical to care for these individuals’ health and well-being during this unprecedented time. We remain committed so that no one faces cancer alone.

As the need for programming has increased, the need for community support is stronger than ever. It would mean everything to us if you would continue your support during this time. You can make an on-line donation HERE.

Thank you for your continued support; you are an integral part of our community.

Gratefully,

Debbie DiCarlo
