Reason number 152 why I love @CSCArizona. They have amazing staff members!

Did you have a connection to Cancer Support Community Arizona before starting your new role?  I decided to leave my previous role at Arizona State University to pursue a career that was more in alignment with my passion for a non-profit that served the community with invaluable support, knowledge and resources. CSCAZ proved to be what I was seeking to contribute to and become a part of.

Have you already attended any of our programs or events? I have attended Virtual- Next Step Yoga and loved it! I am excited to join more programs and events.

Share with us a bit about your professional background: While earning my Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University (Go Devils!), I worked as a student worker for the School of Art, Arizona PBS and the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions. After graduating, I became a full time employee at Arizona PBS supporting Early Childhood educators through the First Things First College Scholarship Program.

We would love to learn more about your family!  My younger brother and I were raised by our AMAZING mom! We grew up with lots of experiences, friends, family and pets. ❤

What are you passionate about or enjoy doing in your free time? I enjoy hiking, yoga, anything active- and the occasional Bad Minton battle with my cousins Silas (9) and Elias (7). I love tea and have a large collection of mugs!

Are you from Arizona originally? Born and raised in Arizona, I love the heat! I lived in Tempe until 2018, I currently reside in Chandler.

Do you volunteer in the community or support any other non-profit organizations? I have been a volunteer for Arizona PBS Pledge Drive, College Football Playoff National Championship, Southwest Parks & Recreation Kick-off Symposium and served as an after school mentor at Future For Kids.
