My favorite thing about CSCAZ was during their annual summer Kids Kamp I volunteered and revealed to the kids that I’m a cancer survivor and the look on this one little girl showed as she lit up and said, “you are!?”
As a long-time volunteer I’ve helped organize various events and programs. I get very stir crazy just standing around. As a cancer survivor myself, I know the importance of helping out others going through this battle.

I’m an Outreach Ambassador. I love every part of volunteering with CSCAZ and my favorite part is being able to reach out to people who are going through similar things as I did during my cancer treatment and help them find CSCAZ as an amazing resource and community.
I heard about CSCAZ while I was a patient at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The first program I participated in was Teen Prom, it was Alice and Wonderland theme and it was AWESOME! After my health started to get better, I wanted to share CSCAZ with everyone!
My favorite thing about CSCAZ is the community! Everyone is kind, helpful and understanding. Everywhere you go, anyone you talk to is joyful and welcoming.
